Due to the NBC Organisers banning jerrycans & funnels from the event (A French Endurance Road Race) on safety grounds, we needed to find a refuelling solution that would be quicker and safer. Enter Safety FILL.

The 'Ripper' is a 20 litre tough-jug with a spout that flows approximately one litre every three seconds and has an auto shut off valve that means you can't overfill the tank. Pull it out and it self seals so there are No Drips either.

Greenkeeper International Magazine

For those who fill petrol tanks with fuel, this is a 'must have' device superseding funnels and jugs. Safety FILL refuelling nozzles are designed to aid safe transfer of fuel from storage container to fuel tank in a clean and astonishingly fast manner.

The design enables the nozzles to automatically shut off that prevents spillage when the tank is full. The different types of nozzle fit standard types of petrol cans and are resistant to chemicals and anti-static.

Originally designed for 5 litre plastic cans, the jerrycan model has been developed with a sturdy spout that simply replaces and improves functionality on the spout that comes standard with jerrycans. There is also a 3rd model that "push fits" onto the standard spout.

Check out this superb range of safety filler nozzles from Safety FILL .

The nozzle range is designed to fit all of the most popular types of fuel cans and eliminates fuel spillage, which is especially important in pit areas.

The small blue fast fill nozzle ensures that filling a tank is fast and safe, it is designed to cut the flow of fuel when the tank is full and retails for around £10 which is a real bargain.

There is something in the range for everyone, both solo and quad riders whose needs are generally different when it comes to refuelling, the long neck fillers are particularly good.

These products have been designed to aid safe and quick transfer of fuel from container to fuel tank without the need of a funnel or jug.

The nozzles are simple to use and feature an automated shut off function, preventing spillage by stopping the flow of fuel when the tank is full.

This makes it impossible to overfill your tank and you are not in direct contact with the fuel while filling. All components of the nozzle are chemical resistant and anti-static to avoid generating a spark.

These will fit most standard European plastic portable fuel containers from 5 to 25 litres. Simply screw it on and use.

There is also a jerrycan nozzle available, which comes complete with a metal spout fitting all standard metal jerry containers.

Filling fuel tanks from a jerrycan is frequently a messy process, but inventor LeeThompson thinks he has the answer. Safety FILL fuel nozzles are designed to fit both plastic and metal cans and feature a spring loaded cap that retains the fuel until the nozzle is inserted into the filler pipe and pressed down, avoiding spillage.

BIKE Magazine

A clever gadget that screws onto most fuel cans to allow fast filling. It shuts off automatically to prevent overfilling.

This magic device takes the drips out of refuelling, not to mention the fear of a huge fireball. Screw it to your can and it won't let fuel flow out until it's over the tank filler and you push it down to activate the spring-loaded release mechanism. Once the tank is full, a valve stops more fuel spewing out. And it doesn't leak. Available for plastic cans or jerrycans.

Transferring petrol from one tank to another usually entails sloshing fuel through funnels. This device fits any standard petrol can and allows you to quickly transfer the contents into a petrol tank with an automatic shut off device, which is both quick and perfectly safe. Also available with a push on spout for jerrycans.

Safer and more economical refuelling of off-road machines is offered by the Safety FILL fuel nozzle. It's design and closed transfer system prevents spills in windy weather and also avoids fuel contamination in dusty conditions. The nozzle is inserted into plastic or metal fuel cans or onto an existing spout and then rested on the fuel tank filler neck. Pushing down on the tank starts the flow of fuel and a valve automatically stops the flow once the tank is full.

It is said that the simplest ideas are invariably the best ideas and occasionally someone comes along with just that – a simple idea. The safety FILL nozzle is designed for use on a fuel container or jerrycan to transfer fuel from the container into a tank quickly without spills and waste.

The nozzle is an ingeniously simple spring loaded device that replaces the containers cap. It forms a perfect seal so can be turned upside down, the nozzle fits into the tank, the edges of which when pushed down allow the spring to compress which in turn allows a good flow of fuel to escape. When the fuel level of the tank reaches the nozzle, the flow automatically ceases and on releasing the container the spring extends instantly, sealing off the nozzle. Hey presto, no splashes.

I have one on my two gallon container and it works perfectly on the CCM, the Norton, chainsaw, hedge cutter and the lawnmower.

The Thruxton Bonneville however, has a breather pipe inside the filler opening that fowls the nozzle, not allowing the complete necessary access.

If you check out the website you'll see a video demonstration which explains the system perfectly.

Stop messing about with funnels and fuel spills when topping up your tank from fuel cans and containers. This neat little nozzle fits onto standard plastic fuel containers and won't let the fuel out of the can until it has been inserted into your bikes tank.

An automatic shut off prevents petrol being spilt all over your trousers when the tank is full. You just push down to allow the fuel to pour, and release the pressure to stop it. It's quick too.

Safety Fill fuel nozzles are widely used where petrol and diesel must be dispensed safely
